An Apartment With Nordic Style and Industrial Touches

That wood and white work very well is not something new, we saw it some time ago in "Ideas to decorate in white and wood". Now, if we dare to mix a Nordic style base with a certain industrial air, we can have as spectacular results as we can see in this house. A house that inspires in every detail.

We love this project from Shoko Design, a Polish study that we have talked about on several occasions. In it we find noble materials such as wood, but mixed with other less conventional ones such as OSB or cement boards. Decorative details that remind us of the industrial style and bluish colors to complete the set.

Nordic style integrated lounge

The concept of housing we like, and much. An open space in which are integrated living room, dining room and kitchen. Now, completely differentiated and well defined. On the one hand, we have a living room with views. Large windows to which no light is subtracted; And is that as we can see, here there are curtains.

The first contrast with this natural wood floor is found in the large cement wall. The main wall of the room. Of course, with a soft cement, not aggressive, rather whitish, so as not to subtract an iota of natural light to the room. The wood is clearly typical of the Nordic style.

The dining area, although integrated, has a clear visual division thanks to, firstly, the carpet in earth and white tones. In addition, the material used is also striking. Leave the wood aside to introduce a picnic table with OSB boards. To the set are added different chairs, white and blue, something that combines with the rest of the room.

The kitchen plays an important role in this environment. Separated from the rest by a bar with a certain industrial air and wood as the main protagonist. The lights above the bar use a sight installation. The color inside the kitchen is a bit more risky, perhaps to separate this part even more. The slate wall, dark and furniture in gray, combine without problem with the wood of the floor and the large bar.

We must emphasize the work of artificial lighting. Lamps with an industrial air more than evident in which the iron is present.

The zone of transition between the private part and the most public part of the house is light in its composition. Wood is still used in the soil, with no transition to other material. However, the walls are left blank, with some illustration as a vinyl. However, details are included in wood paneleando certain areas of the same, something that gives continuity and warmth evident.

Wood present even in the bathroom

A large and well used master bathroom in which in addition to wood and white has included floor tiles. It should be noted that, in the area of the toilet, the wall is paneled with wood, incorporating cabinets hidden behind this material. The white on the rest of the walls makes the feeling of amplitude not diminish.

Finally we have a nice double bedroom in which stand out both the large white wardrobe and the main wall on which rests the head of the bed. A wall that has decided to show originality, with a panel of wood as a gresite.
